(Seattle, WA) - September 3, 2019 - After launching J. Rinehart gallery online earlier this year and coming off the heels of exhibiting at the Seattle Art Fair, Judith Rinehart has sought out a brick and mortar location to better showcase the work of the gallery’s represented artists. In locating the gallery in the Pioneer Square neighborhood, Rinehart continues the long-held tradition of art galleries clustering in this vibrant and growing community.

In keeping with the gallery’s mission to create an environment where anyone can feel comfortable visiting the gallery and not feel intimidated by the experience of purchasing fine art, the gallery set up is that of an inviting living room. Guests are invited to take a seat, have a cup of coffee and enjoy being surrounded by a variety of artwork that they can envision in their home.

The gallery will be open Tuesday – Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. beginning October 1, 2019. The inaugural exhibition, Introductions, featuring a variety of works by the gallery’s represented artists, opens on Thursday October 3, 2019 with an opening reception from 5- 8 p.m.

Highlights include works by 2018 Neddy Award winning painter, Lakshmi Muirhead, master printmakers Kelda Martensen and Kim Van Someren, local art collector, curator and contributor to the forthcoming Museum of Museum’s project, Shaun Kardinal, lush paintings by Daisy Patton, and floral infused photographs by Jennifer Zwick and Meggan Joy along with many others.
